When does Fixgent open in Canada?

We're signing up Taskers across Canada now and will open bookings once there are Taskers near you. Join the waitlist and you'll hear first.

Where will you operate?

Everywhere in Canada, in every province and territory. There's no list of areas: each Tasker sets how far they travel from their base, and you'll see everyone who covers your address. Join the waitlist with your province so we know where to find Taskers first.

How will pricing work?

Each Tasker sets an hourly rate, which you see with their reviews before you book, plus an estimate for your job. You pay for the time actually worked. Fixgent adds a 10% service fee (5% when you rebook a Tasker you've used), shown before you confirm. Prices are in Canadian dollars; applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Same-day bookings add 20%, paid to the Tasker.

How will I pay?

By card in the app after your Tasker accepts. Fixgent holds the payment until the job is done. Never pay a Tasker in cash or by e-Transfer outside Fixgent — only payments through Fixgent are protected.

What if I need to cancel?

Free up to 24 hours before the start. Later than that, 10% of the estimated labour goes to the Tasker for holding the slot and the rest is refunded.

What if something goes wrong?

The Fixgent Promise applies: report a problem within 48 hours for a redo or refund, or within 7 days for a free redo. Email support@fixgent.com any time.

Who can become a Tasker?

Anyone 18 or older in Canada who is legally entitled to work in Canada, has the skills for the services they offer, government-issued photo ID and a Canadian bank account. Taskers are independent and set their own rates, hours and how far they travel. Sign up early.

Is Fixgent in Nigeria too?

Yes — Fixgent is live across Nigeria at fixgent.ng. Switch country at the bottom of any page.
